Many opportunities exist for you to help at First Presbyterian Church!

Here are just a few!

Sunday School

We need Sunday School teachers this fall. From children to adults, your help is needed to help others grow in their faith.
The best part of it, you will grow in your faith too! There is nothing more rewarding than to see the face of someone
light up when then learn something new about God and his love for us. If you are interested in helping us,
just contact one of the following individuals.

Children's Sunday School - Ashley Braisted

Youth Studies - Matthew Woodard

Adult Education - Rev. Diana Hartman

Ushers and Greeters

Each Sunday morning we have dedicated people, called Greeters, who welcome those coming in the door and Ushers who assist people coming into the sanctuary for worship. Our ushers also help take up the offering. By helping in these ways, we know that people feel more welcome when they visit our congregation. If you would like to get on the list to help on a Sunday morning, call or email the church office for more information and dates that are available.

Coffee Fellowship

After morning worship we get together in the parlor to fellowship with one another over coffee and goodies. We need servers to help each Sunday by keeping the coffee full and the goodies plentiful. Want to help? Contact us at the church office for more information on this great and fun opportunity.

Good Doers

Important to any church is the opportunity to greet our visitors each week. During the announcements on Sunday morning, we ask for our visitors to raise their hands so we can welcome them. This is when our "Good Doers" spring into action. This person finds our visitor, greets them, and gives them a welcome package with information and homemade bread. We can use your help in making those who visit us feel more at home in our church.

Other Opportunities to Help

Want to help out around the church or in some special way, contact the church office to see what you can do to be a vital part of the ministry of our congregation!
