fpcpastor@qwestoffice.net
As the Head of Staff,  Pastor Bob is committed to First Presbyterian Church glorifying God through our Worship, Christian Education, and Mission outreach.  In the Great Commission, Christ called his church to go make disciples in all the world.   First Presbyterian is dedicated to growing faithful disciples who serve as ambassadors for Christ in Cheyenne and in the world.   If you are new to Cheyenne we invite you to come as you are to worship and experience the love of Jesus Christ.

Rev. Diana Hartman, Associate Pastor
firstpresap@qwestoffice.net
Pastor Diana is actively pursuing the formation of small groups (made up of both members and friends) gathered around spiritual formation, fellowship, and/or study. She opens doors and actively engages young adults in the life and mission of the church. She believes the church is like a patchwork quilt. Its differences are its beauty and its diversity is its strength and treasure. She enjoys helping people discover their spiritual gifts and believes it takes the involvement of all of us to build the koinonia (Christian Community) into which Christ Jesus leads us.

Ashley Braisted, Children’s Ministry Director
firstprescmd@qwestoffice.net
Ashley has an enormous heart for children and enjoys watching them grow spiritually. Your children will want to be a part of all the new and exciting activities she has planned. Children are very important to us and we are excited to have Ashley teaching and guiding our children.

Matthew Woodard, Youth Ministry Director
firstpresyouth@qwestoffice.net
Matt is the Director of the Youth Ministry program, which includes Youth Group, Sunday School, and various Bible studies. He has lots of energy and is excited to lead our youth in a wide variety of ways. Matt leads this group in most all activities concerning youth, including onsite church activities, as well as youth trips for mission work or retreats. He is excited to work so much with the youth, and hopes that he can share that excitement with you, too!

Judy Bezek, Executive Assistant
firstpresbyteri5@qwestoffice.net
(307) 638-3345
Judy is a valuable member of the staff, as she helps keep the place running. Her work in the church office is vital to keeping the lines of communication open and helps to coordinate our efforts. She also keeps watch over the church calendar, writes the newsletter and is important to other vital parts of the church. In fact, her duties are so numerous, there’s no way to list them all here.

George Barnes, Clerk of Session
George’s responsibilities include keeping the minutes of the meetings for the Session and Congregation, keeping the church records, and being one of the chief officers of the church. George ’s dedication to this job is important to keeping our record books in order.

Greg Dyekman, Treasurer
Responsible for overseeing our finances, with the help of the Finance Committee, Greg also makes sure each week that our offerings are faithfully counted and deposited. Stewardship and accountability are his key words.

Betty Jo Mainwaring, Bookkeeper
firstpresbjm@qwestoffice.net
(307) 638-3345
Betty Jo is the keeper of the financial accounts for our church. All expenses are submitted to her so that we can be good stewards of the financial support our members and friends provide for our church and its ministries.

Becky Tish, Choir and Handbell Director
Music is deeply planted within Becky’s heart and soul. You can see it as she oversees our entire music program as she directs our Chancel and Handbell Choirs. Her gift of music is shared in making our services more meaningful by the excellent selections of music she provides each week for the choir.

Becky is also the inspiration behind our melodious ringers. With the ringtones of an adult handbell choir, our congregation is treated to a regular rendition of some of our favorite hymns played on the bells.

Eleanor Lane, Organist
This musician extraordinaire blesses our congregation each week with her glorious selections on the organ. It’s worth coming to church just to hear her play a variety of great musical works.

Custodian

Willie Banks, Custodian
Helping out on Sunday morning is Willie. By arriving early and getting things set up and ready to go, our members and friends arrive at a church building that is ready to receive them and make them feel welcome.

Each of our staff members are valuable assets to our church and its ministries. Without their dedication and willingness to serve, grow, and lead, our congregation would be lost indeed. Thank you, staff, for all your time and commitment to our ministries for Christ in this church and in the community.
